Corporate Office at G-02, H 17, Block H, H Block, Sector 63, Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201301

Subject : Appointment and complaint of fraud, cheating, misrepresentation, pursuance of unethical trade practices, deficiency of services, harassment of customers against the CEO/Director Mr. Vishal kumar Rai, Mr. Dinesh Sharma, Mr. Rahul Arora, Mr.Shekhar and other management staff of Country inn Holidays & Suites Private Limited.

We residents of Greater Noida have been defrauded, cheated through fraudulent misrepresentation and unethical trade practices , harassed and intimidated by employees of Country Inn Holidays and suites Private limited.

On 9th Feb 2018 in the name of a lucky draw, our personal details like name, marital status and car we own, were taken by sales team member at Logix Mall food court. On 10thfeb 2018, I received a call from their office and they invited us for rewards and freebies and a presentation which was a trap! When we reached the venue we were told to attend a mandatory 45 mins presentation but we requested if we can get the same on email or record it, as we were along with our 5 year old child who was cranky because of late hours. The sales representative denied and told us to switch off our mobiles. The presentation was full of deliberate falsehood, fraudulent misrepresentation of facts, unethical claims and promises, wherein the hotels and resorts shown in the presentation are not part of CHIS. All the properties shown in the presentation were ulta luxurious high end properties located in India and exotic foreign locations and hassle free booking services was demonstrated. Ease of Refund at any time of dissatisfaction was repeatedly promised and showed on their website.
It was claimed and stated repeatedly by sales team that CHIS owns luxurious properties more than 300+ properties in India and 150+ properties in other countries and many more are coming up in future. The name “Country Inns and Suites” is a separate and distinct chain of luxury resorts whose name is deliberately used to attract, misguide and confuse customers by Country Holidays Inn and Suites.the executive told after the payment of Rs.1,40,000/-, we will become a member of the Company and thus entitled to avail 6 Nights/ 7 days holiday once in a year and many other discounts freebies along .
we were promised that the amount paid us towards the booking of the holiday package will be deducted in 12 EMIs from the credit card of our clients and not in one shot but executive Mr. Shekhar swiped the card and informed told us that due to some technical errors of the POS machine the entire Rs.1,40,000 was deducted in one shot. Their executives informed that as the entire amount was deducted in one shot, now it’s not possible to convert in 12 EMIs. Their executives however, represented to our clients that their money will be safe with the company and if our clients are not satisfied, the company undertakes to refund the entire amount.

Our bookings of hotels as promised by CHIS for which we paid Rs 1,40,000/- had never been hassle free or the amenities satisfactory. This till date they are unsuccessful to provide us even a single paid vacation ! We tried booking with them numerous times either the location was not available or hotel or dates.

I had complained and shared the same time to time with their management representative Mr. Rahul and customer care team via series of mails and telephonic conversations but they kept on misleading with false promises, harassed and threatened us.

We were extremely disheartened and harassed with their response and we booked flights and hotel from other agents and additionally spent our hard earned money for peaceful and stress free holidays to various national and international locations which clearly states “deficiency of services” resulting in lack of our trust towards them.
We have been communicating telephonically and through emails since 2018 regarding our dissatisfaction and request for refunds.

On social media i came in contact with many other people who were victims like us and shared similar experiences.
On Monday 18 April 2022, we came to know that company is Refunding to few others and Me and my husband reached their office with the intentions for amicably resolving the matter by receiving our hard earned money trapped with them since 2018 in spite of my parents critical health conditions. We were made to wait for hours , while bouncers(female and male) kept on threatening us to leave.
That day we witnessed full Refunds were made to many like us & similar promise was made to us by their lawyer.

But Till date I have not received any Refunds. Their fraudulent attitude and deliberate intentions to not to pay our hard earned money is visible now.

Now cannot trust them for my holidays as they cannot ever stick to their words & demand full amount with interest against as I have suffered enough mental trauma.

Please don’t send me mails regarding “Non Refundable” term as i am eye witness to Refunds made.
Ready to Resolve only once I get my hard Earned Money.

    did anyone got resolution to the problem or filed legal case in consumer court? Even I am facing issues with this company.

    1. i am also planning to sue this company. Lets all the aggrieved party team-up and file a joint complaint against this company in the consumer forum.
