My acquaintance received a call from Amazon that she has won a prize in the Funzone competition. Inorder to assure their prize they need to shop on Amazon for ₹ 4999 through UPI. She insisted me to do the payment so I did using my UPI as per instructions by the customer care executive as the UPI link showed it a safe payment. Once my ₹4999 payment was made they told me to submit the GST amount and that it will be refunded immediately. But as per their say due to technical failure the amt did not reverted and I needed to make the payment again . Again the payment failed and a total of ₹ 48000 got deducted from my account.
