my mobile no 9636220011, on 20 July 19, around 8:00 PM i received an SMS from Vodafone that Amazon Prime subcription will be renewed tomorrow i.e. 21.07.19, to stop i was asked asked to send SMS STOP to 155223. I sent STOP sms to 155223.
Today, 21 July 19 I received sms from Vodafone that Amazon Prime service has been renewed and Vodafone will charge Rs 999 from my postpaid bill.
I immediately made a call to Customer Care at 8:08 PM. and asked Mr. Vijay and Mr Abhay to stop the services of Amazon Prime. But both of them have denied and they also told that Vodafone will charge Rs. 999 from me, even if i am saying No to them. They also have denied to take any complain. By saying that even after sending STOP SMS to 155223 an another SMS has to be sent by Customer.
Although it was not mentioned in Vodafone 1st SMS that I have to send an another SMS after sending SMS to 155223.
I have following complains:
Why the Amazon Prime service is auto renewal ?
When I have send SMS STOP auto renewal should have not be done.
Some one from Vodafone should confirm from me before renewing
when i have immediately said No to services, money should have not been charged.
But Vodafone don’t even shown any mercy at the customer.
its purely a fraud being carried out by Vodafone.
