Text of Complaint by Aditya Kasliwal:

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the unacceptable fraud committed by Spicejet recently today @ 4:18 AM,

I had booked a flight from Jaipur to Pune with Spicejet and received a confirmed ticket with PNR RERF9D and Ticket Number 66256760.

Upon reaching the airport and in front of Spicejet Counter @ 4:18 AM (52 Minutes before Departure) , as confirm by Customer care and same is in your record as well as CCTV, as per your website, Gate closes 45 Minutes before departure.

I was told Many Lies stated in below Pointer –
Why was I Denied to Checkin my baggage when I Reached Airport @ 4:18, By Mr. Manish

To make matters worse, the check-in desk refused to take my suitcase as part of the allowed baggage and asked me for extra money for an additional bag even though it was within the allowed 7kg limit. My laptop bag was also included in this count. and Total was 8.450 KG after Removing Food Items. (This Includes Laptop Bag) but as per guidelines stated by SpiceJet “Laptop bag/ ladies purse/ duty free shopping bags can be carried additionally, as long as the total weight of cabin baggage does not exceed 7 kg.”
This was done by Mr. Manish with the intention that boarding time got delayed and i was asked to book another flight by paying extra 13,150, what a great way to earn Blood Money, great fraud technique.

Apart from this, I agreed to Pay extra charge of rs 1800 since i did’nt wanted to Miss the flight as asked by Manish and other Spicejet staff,but then Mr. Manish Says system got Closed @ 4:35 AM due to some issue at their end, But the other person said, She had done a “Call” which will help in me getting onbaorded, but Manish Intevened and asked her to leave as he did’nt wanted me to onbaord. and they kept on wasting my time till the flight departed.

Before this, Mr. Manish was on Call with Sonal(Did’nt recalled the name) to adjust me some other flight without any charge but lateron they asked for 13,150rs.

There was 1 more customer for the same reason and he was also asked to go just like me.

I was standing in front of him and he writes on system that “PAX No Show” , I have captured this
The Main reason for all this chaos is Flight was Overbooked, This was aslo confirmed by Spicejet Customer care executive.

I am appalled by this incident and request you to investigate this matter further and take necessary action against those responsible.
