I formally raise a complaint about the unsatisfactory service I have received from Vodafone for International Roaming Facility from 10 September,2024 till 11Feb,2025. during my recent visit to Newyork, USA I am a long-standing customer with Vodafone However, I am increasingly frustrated with the ongoing issue outlined below and the lack of resolution.
INTERNATIONAL ROAMING FACILITY -I had travelled to USA with the International Roaming Facility for one month unlimited data plan on September 9,2024 ,but I was only able to communicate using text messages and could not use Google maps and other apps . Despite multiple attempts to resolve this issue, I have seen no improvement.
2. Previous Attempts to Resolve:
While I had sporadic internet access from September 10, 2024 – this limited facility was also not available since January 23, 2025 with no access to mobile data at all. I have relentlessly tried to contact customer care through the Vodafone App but it wasn’t available. I have been told to change my handset for that, this is an issue on my end however that contradicts limited access I had in the past 4 months. Unfortunately, each interaction has either gone unresolved or they have failed to provide a clear solution. Today when out with same handset with same SIM, I was able to see the T-Mobile and full network Bars but not being able to access any data, Google map or Text messages. SO BLAMING TO DEFECT IN MY HANDSET NOT JUSTIFIED.
3. Impact on Service and Inconvenience:
This issue has caused me significant inconvenience, as no Google Map or internet facility was accessible This is unacceptable, especially considering the service standards that Vodafone purports to uphold.
4. Resolution Requested:
I demanded a clear, written explanation of why this issue has not been resolved to date, as well as the specific steps Vodafone will take to address it. But so far no action had been taken from Vodafone and my complaint had been closed without my consent
I expect to receive a prompt response, outlining a clear plan of action and compensation, where applicable, for the inconvenience this has caused.
I trust that your forum will take my complaint seriously and resolve this matter swiftly.
