My doctor prescribed 7 tablets of Altraday (1 tablet daily for 7 days). The medical store at Kolkata – Niramoy Medicals, BP Township, Kolkata (pharma.niramoy@gmail.com) forced me to purchase the whole strip of Altraday tablets which contained 10 tablets.
I argued with them that i wanted the amount strictly as prescribed by my doctor. They refused to listen.
I know that the practise is prevalent among other medical stores in this area of Patuli, Kolkata. They force the patients to buy medicines in excess of their prescription.
