Dear Team,
This mail is a formal complaint of mobile number – 7837753830 (Post paid Punjab) in the name of Rohit Kapil. Earlier the mentioned number was prepaid number and it was not linked to Aadhar card for a long duration. To link the number to Aadhar card, I visited the vodafone store at NAC Manimajra and the store staff conveyed me that it was not possible to link the Aadhar card with my prepaid number as the time limit of the same was exceeded. They said that the only way to link my mobile number was to change it to postpaid number and it will be then linked to Aadhar card so I gave in as I didn’t wanted to change my number. I gave my Adhar card copy and they took my thumb impression for the same and said that now your number is linked to the Adhar card.
To my shock and dismay now I came to know that my mobile number never got linked to the Aadhar card and the procedure was just to take advantage of the situation to change my prepaid number to postpaid.
I again went to the Vodafone store at NAC Manimajra and they said that your no. was never linked to the Adhar card and said the time limit to link my number to Adhar was now gone. They did not helped me at all and were arrogant and said me to leave.
Now I’m facing a lot of difficulties due to the tax related and PF withdrawal related things that require the OTP of Aadhar linked mobile number.
Please help me to get my mobile number linked to Aadhar card. I had changed my postpaid number to prepaid number just to get it linked to the Aadhar card that did not happen and now I have to argue for each month to get my bill rectified as each month I’m facing the issue of wrongful bill details from Vodafone.
Please consider this complaint and take appropriate action.
