Dear Team,
I ordered lunch on new year’s afternoon for my diabetic father around 12:00 PM via swiggy (Order Number #155629942415) at Geetham Veg Restaurant. While ordering the food the time to deliver the food is shown as 25 mins. As my father is diabetic and usually will take food between 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM. Based on the delivery time I placed the ordered and paid. After 1 hour also the food is not delivered and connected multiple times with Swiggy customer care, and each time they told surely the food will deliver in 10 to 15 mins like that. Till 2:00 PM the food was not delivered and connected again with Swiggy customer care service they told the DM is not picking up the phone and the restaurant as well. If you confirm we will assign a new DM and will deliver an order in another 25 mins like that.
I told them will raise the issue with consumer complaints since this is not the first time, it happened most of the time when I ordered and finally, I have to cancel the order and I have to go to the nearby restaurant and buy the food. i got upset and my father was not able to eat the food since the time crossed he is not able to consume. Explained the same to Swiggy customer care they are simply saying we can understand your situation we are sorry for that we will take this as feedback. I was very upset on that day and my father and mother were too. This is not the proper behavior. If the food is not able to deliver on time they should not accept the order. Please take the necessary action against them.
