I had ordered food through E catering order no. 72648301 on 4th of July, 2022 from Dindigul Railway station. The order amount of Rs 487 was paid for by UPI and was supposed to be delivered at Salem junction but unfortunately the order was not delivered. We had to stay hungry without food for the whole journey. What’s even worse is the problem not being addressed to by the TC, and the customer care was also unavailable. No explanation was provided either nor was I ever informed about the food not being delivered. The phone number provided did not respond. The IRCTC E catering helpline number 1323 provided on their website turns out to be invalid. This deems to be a massive scam to defraud consumers of their money.
