Text of Complaint by Sayeem Aktar:

I had bought a Realme smart phone Realme gt master edition from Flipkart on September, 2021. The price of the phone was 25999/- and after using the discount amount of 5000 by using debit card, I had bought the phone for Rs 20750, the amount being paid using debit card through my Friend’s Flipkart account.
But Now on 2023 after a software update for my phone, a flash message or popup message with “Flipkart Smart Upgrade Plan Terms and Conditions” and “Agree” is appearing on my phone, which entirely covers my display and I can’t do any operation on my phone, I can’t go back to my home screen or nothing. And somehow, If have closed this Terms and Conditions page, My Notification window of the phone is not working afterwards.
I have contacted your Customer care executives more than 5 times to resolve my issue, and they all have confirmed that my phone was not bought under Flipkart Smart Upgrade Plan and there was no need for the Flash message to appear on my phone screen and they are not aware of such a scenario. They all have tried to connect my call to higher executives , but they failed to do so, and I have been told by customer care executives that they are failed to connect to higher officials each and every single time due to technical issues, even though I have waited in the call for more than 1hour . I have also consulted with Authorised Realme service centre and they have also adviced me that it was the issue from the part of Flipkart, and this issue should be resolved from the part of Flipkart, and after resolving the issue from Flipkart, reset the phone and do not use the mail ID that I have used for Flipkart. Again I contacted Flipkart customer executive, but no issue being resolved from their part and not able to connect to higher executives. Then I have requested to delete all my Flipkart accounts registerd under my phone numbers and Email ID through customer care executive, and I also have initiated steps to deactivate the account through my account settings. Even afterwards I have received a flash message informing that “This phone was purchased under Flipkart Smart Upgrade Plan and I was not allowed to resold the phone until the advance amount is paid”. I’m asking u guys which advance amount ??? I haven’t received any amount anywhere ?
I hav already paid full payment of 20750/- for the phone and I had the invoice of the purchase and all the customer care executives admitted that I was not a part of this Flipkart Smart Upgrade Plan. Why should I pay the amount or return back the phone ?? What can I do if my phone gets blocked due to this bullshit ??? I have been using Flipkart for last 4-5 years and it’s for the first time I’m facing such a horrible experience from Flipkart. There is no dispute exists between me and Flipkart regarding my past orders and purchase. Actually I haven’t used Flipkart App all this 5 years and it’s not been installed in my phone. Another fact is there the phone was not ordered through my account, it’s through my friends account. Then How come I suffer all these issues ??? I have offered a call back within 48hrs from the FLIPKART HIGHER TEAM, but no one has yet contacted me regarding this and it’s being over 3 months that I have been after this issue. Please help me to get rid off these issue as soon as possible.
