Text of Complaint by Tanuj Kathuria:

i purchased a mobile from flipkart but as soon as the mobile was received, i gifted it to my brother as his birthday gift. When he opened the package and inserted his sim, it started to hang and the phone screen was not scrolling. A phone with 4gb ram and conpletely empty, first day of use, was getting hung even on scrolling. I immediately raised a replacement request against which a technician visit was scheduled. The technician came and said ‘sir appka phone to defective wala piece hai, replace karwalo’. When he exitted the place, i saw the status on flipkart that the request was rejected. I asked for a reason of this rejection and got no reply for three days. I was so furious that i raised it on twitter and they arranged a second technician visit. The request was rejected again without any reason. The phone is in pathetic condition and now i am being told to go to service centre to get it repaired. Why shoild i go to service centre when i purchased the product from flipkart and it was under replacement warranty. Firstly flipkart sent defective product and now they are not replacing. I will not take this anymore and inwant to raise ancomplaint against flipkart for cheating and fraud.
