I ordered malabar 5gm gold coin on 22nd September for Rs19753. It was kind of a steal deal but on 23rd September Flipkart cancelled my order and the reason they gave me that their system detected that this purchase that i did wasn’t for personal use which is totally illogical as they couldn’t deliver the product at this price. This was the first time i purchased gold from Flipkart so how their system can detect that i didn’t order for personal use?
My friend also ordered this coin. His order was Also cancelled but he was provided with Rs2500 coupon as token of apology for order cancellation. Moreover he purchased 3 coins still he was given rs2500 and i received nothing. Their system didn’t detect 3 orders of gold coins simaltaneously made were for personal use or not? Though he ordered these coins for himself but doesn’t 3 coins indicate that order was not done for personal use? Dont his purchase trends suggest that this wasn’t ordered for personal use as their system cancelled my order and it was 1 coin only. So this is just a lame excuse so that they can refuse to deliver my order at this price. What about the time and money i invested for this order. This is total harassment from their end.
They cancelled my 1 order and gave me nothing and he got rs2500 and ordered 3 coins. This is totally unfair and unjust. I have attached screenshots of my order as well as my friend and the 2500rs coupon screenshot also.
Current price of this coin is Rs26767. I want that they issue me a coupon of the price difference so that i can order it again at price which i ordered earlier or they provide me compensation as they did for my friend.
