Flipkart Delivered a Damaged IFB Washing Machine and Now refused for replacement

Text of Complaint by Pritam:

Dear Sir/Ma’am,
I wish to bring to your immediate action regarding my recently purchased IFB Diva Aqua 6008 washing machine from Flipkart. The order id for the same is : OD428664332053497100
After delivery of the machine, I am mentally harassed by the customer service and Flipkart and my issue is not resolved till now after one week of delivery.
I have explained a stage wise development of the process and attached respective proofs for your reference.

Stage 1(July 26, 2023): The IFB washing machine was delivered by the flipkart delivery agent on July 26, 2023 at around 7.00 PM. He opened the box and only showed me the top and sides of the machine which was perfectly fine with no damage. The machine was kept over the packaging material (thermocol), he didn’t lift or keep the machine outside of the thermocol and didn’t show me the bottom part of the machine. Then he took the OTP and the last four digits of my mobile number and left.

Stage 2 (July 28, 2023): The installation person from IFB arrived at 4.00 PM and opened the cover of the box and kept the machine outside of the thermocol to the floor. Then he observed that there was an imbalance in the machine. After checking the bottom of the machine he confirmed that one of the backside legs of the machine was bent which is causing the imbalance. Then he told me that the machine won’t work for more than 1 month if I install it and will make lots of noise. Then, he told me to place a replacement in flipkart and refused to install the machine. Immediately, I called flipkart and raised my concern while raising an issue with flipkart.

Stage 3 (July 29, 2023): After the installation person refused to install the machine on July 28, I saw my order page and found that the installation and demo is showing completed. How is this possible? As I have not given my concern or signature about the installation and the IFB customer service person also admitting installation is not showing on their website. Then when and how the installation is completed.

From that day onward I am constantly calling the flipkart customer service 4-5 times a day and they are raising an issue and without solving the issue they are keeping the status as “issue resolved” after a few hours of talking to me. The customer service people have been mentally harassing me for the last four days and not giving a single solution.
They are saying to call the IFB customer service for replacement, and the IFB personnel refusing for replacement as they have not installed the machine till now.
This is the worst customer service behavior one can expect from Flipkart and still my issue is not resolved.
I have invested my hard earned money for this and you are not giving me a gift.
