I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my recent experience with a purchase I made on the Flipkart platform. On [09-10-2023], I placed an order with Order ID [OD429372270036187100 ] for [MOTOROLA G32]. To my dismay, I received a notification that my order was canceled due to “logistic problems.”

First and foremost, my grievance is not only with the cancellation of my order but also with the manner in which it was canceled without any prior notification or my consent. I was looking forward to receiving the ordered product and was completely taken aback by the abrupt cancellation.

Furthermore, the inconvenience I faced was compounded by the fact that I had made the payment for the order using my debit card. Subsequently, I received an email notification from Flipkart indicating that the money was refunded to my card. However, I would like to make it clear that I did not request a refund. My preference was to receive the product I had ordered.

This cancellation has caused me significant inconvenience and disappointment. I firmly believe that as a consumer, I have the right to expect fair and transparent business practices. I relied on Flipkart to fulfill my order as agreed upon during the purchase process.

I kindly request the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum to intervene and address my grievance. I seek the following remedies:

1. An investigation into the reasons for the unauthorized cancellation of my order.
2. Compensation for the inconvenience, mental distress, and any additional expenses incurred as a result of the cancellation.
3. A commitment from Flipkart to ensure more transparent and consumer-friendly practices in the future.

I have attached copies of the relevant order details, payment receipts, and communication with Flipkart for your reference.

I kindly request a timely resolution of this matter to ensure that my consumer rights are protected and upheld. Your prompt attention to this issue will be greatly appreciated.
