Text of Complaint by Ronit Shome:

I have purchased 2 Voltas ACs from Flipkart. One AC has been delivered on 1st Oct and another on 2nd Oct. Order IDs are OD429284182946065100 and OD429284510000513100. Technicians from Voltas came on 2nd Oct for installation and informed that the installation charges will cost around ₹4900 for one and over ₹5000 for another. However the main issue is that the Wrapping of pipe with Seasoning Tape comes under Standard Installation which costs ₹1770 each as per product website. But, the technicians claim that it will not be included in Standard Installation and will be charged separately on per feet basis. I have uploaded the screenshot from the Flipkart page stating that Standard Installation includes Wrapping of pipes with Seasoning Tape and also showed it to the technicians but still they do not agree and want charges for it. They will also not provide GST bill for it. They asked us to contact Flipkart as it is mentioned in Flipkart page. When contacted Flipkart, I have shared the screenshots with them as well and they have confirmed that I should not pay it separately. The return policy will expire on 8th and 9th October respectively. Need redressal for the situation as not receiving proper support from Flipkart or Voltas as both of them saying concerned team will get in touch or Senior Technician will connect shortly. No timeframe shared by Voltas customer care and Flipkart is just keeping on escalating from one team to another.
