Text of Complaint by Amitosh Gaurav:

my recent purchase of a Samsung refrigerator

The original price of the refrigerator was ₹35,490. After applying various offers and card discounts, I acquired the product for ₹27218 However, on September 6th, Flipkart delivered a damaged product. I refused to accept this damaged item and requested a replacement.

In response, Flipkart proposed an additional 5% discount on the damaged product, which I declined, insisting on a replacement. To my dismay, Flipkart has not provided a replacement and has instead instructed me to place a new order at a higher price, excluding the original discounts and offers.

This situation appears to be a deceptive practice, effectively penalizing customers who reject damaged goods by charging them more for a replacement. Such conduct undermines consumer rights and violates principles of fair trade.

I hereby request a replacement unit of the refrigerator at the originally discounted price of ₹27218 or as a compensation of price difference for placing new order. But no one provided any resolution
