Text of Complaint by AYUSHI SINGH:

This morning I booked a flight from Agoda and after making the payment my account was deducted and a booking id was generated stating that the booking is under process and it was not confirmed. On calling the customer care, an executive named Mr. Jude assisted me and said the booking has not been confirmed , it was an emergency and I was already in a bad mood so I asked him if I could get the refund process initiated as soon as possible. The tone that he used was not all appropriate he that I have two options either I listen to him or else he will hung up on me and the second option was that he will tell me the further process. The tone used by him was very rude and on hearing this I got angry and just asked him to refund my money back, he said that it is not our mistake I am not going to refund the money as your bank did not authorize the transaction , I said first of all if my bank would not have authorized they there would have been no deduction from my account, then he started deviated from the topic and asked me a very silly question, can you explain me what does authorization means to you, how was this question relevant for solving my query by a customer care executive, I don’t understand and after this I got angry and as a normal human tendency I started shouting , and he hung up the call stating that i am disconnecting the call.
The behaviour was very unfriendly and unprofessional and I was not expecting this kind of assistance for them. I want Mr. JUDE to be removed from his position for such an unprofessional behaviour.
I am attaching the screenshot of the email that AGODA company has sent me , which is in contrast with Mr. Jude’s wordings, it is clearly stated that a REFUND will be initiated and I exactly know what the meaning of refund is and why have I emphasised on this term because I was told by Mr. Jude that you don’t understand the meaning of refund.
I have the full voice call recorded in my phone in case it is required I am ready to present it as a proof.
I want a strict action should be taken against Mr. JUDE and his company AGODA
