Text of Complaint by Ramya Kolluri:

Myself Ramya Kolluri and my friend Chandrahas Reddy bandi have flight from Chennai to Sydney on 6th June 2022 via Kaula Lampur. We got email 3rd June 11:36 PM about the flight cancellation from Kaula Lampur to Sydney. As we made all the required arrangements to our travel due to urgent office work, we decided to book other flight from Kaula Lampur to Sydney with flexible date change options for free of cost with Scoot Airlines. After reaching to Chennai airport we have explained the situation to the Air Asia staff there and requested for information on Kaula Lampur transit and asked then are we allowed to travel with 2 different airlines. Then the Air Asia staff assured us that thier staff in Kaula lampur will take care if there are any issues and strongly assured us there wont be any transit issues.
So, with their assurance we have decided to travel. I do remember one of the staff memeber name Hari who assured that there wont be any Transit Issues. After reaching to Kaula Lampur we haven’t got the transit to collect our baggage and to reach scoot terminal. So, we are left with only option to return to Chennai from Kaula Lampur(KL) only via Air Asia. We have tried to contact Chennai staff with the help of KL Air Asia Manager (Male person). But we have not get the positive response from either of the Air Asia office staff. So we booked the tickets and returned to Chennai on 7th June. Then we have reached Air Asia office in Airport and asked for Justice as we have lost money on Scoot airlines as well as we have spent money on return tickets too to reach chennai. on top of that we have to again book tickets to reach Sydney. Just because of 1 persons unauthentic information we have been misguided and sent to Kaula Lampur. Air Asia manager Geetha and a staff member name Libin were in touch with us when we are in Chennai and Libin asked for the apology many times as their staff member, hari haran directed us in the wrong direction. In total we have spent around 2 lakh rupees ($4000+ AUD) to reach to Sydney. In Total we have spent 3days in the journey and spent a lot for food, accommodation and travel expenses. I have every possible proof of transaction to show. All I need is Justice for the time I have spent and the money I have wasted.
