Text of Complaint by Raj Raja:

My name is Mr.Raj Raja, resident of dombivli, Maharashtra 421201. The product purchased on 17/10/2023. on first use it worked as expected however from second use the machine dodn’t generate steam even after selecting steam function for washing. lodged the compliant with the company and visiting engineer said that it might be issue with sensor or temperature of the water since it was winter the water was cold and i should wait till summer as the water would be hot and then it should work properly. raised the issue again in summer months with same issue the senior engineer visited and said that the dump valve is loose and that descaling needs to be done to clean the sensors so the machince can work properly. did the suggested steps in presence of the senior engineer however the problem still remained. once again raised the issue with company and again senior engineer visited and this time he said that the heater needs to be replaced for it to work properly. I informed the engineer that heater is one of the main parts of the machine and if that needs to be replaced then its better to replace the entire unit instead of doing patch work meaning repairing every single part individually. contacted the customer care and was informed that they don’t have rights to process the replacement request and that the replacement is not possible after 1 month of purchase upon insisting was told that the issue will be shared with area manager of the company who would contact in 24 hours and do a site survey and then decide on the replacement however even after 3 days there has been no contact from company official. today (11 aug) upon contacting the contact center was given a contact number of Ms. Subhangi to discuss the issue and get a replacement of the unit but Ms. Subhangi straight forward rejected the replacement unit request and said she will look into the issue but there’s no chance of replacement.

the engineer came and replaced the in-built heater but the issue remains as is

I request you to process the replacement of the unit (machine) at the earliest as I don’t wish to have it repaired constantly within 1 year of purchase repeatedly. with no other options left I would be forced to lodge official complaint with the Ministry of Consumer Affairs regarding same.
