I want to raise a complaint against PayTm for their poor services regarding the Fastag issued to me. When I reached the first toll plaza during my recent journey to Noida the status showed ‘Backlisted’ on their LED screen. When I called the PayTm Customer Service they said Fastag is showing Active on their end and I also have enough balance, but I still have to get a new Fastag issued (I have call recording with their customer support executive as an evidence). They also said that any amount paid in cash will be reimbursed once I submit the toll receipts. So I was left with no other option but to pay in cash throughout my journey and also reached late where I was supposed to reach. When I submitted the toll receipts on my return there was no response from Paytm to my email sent to their official customer support email address (Email subject line: “Grievance regarding Ticket No. 3168197362”). Once I raised the issue on Twitter, then I got a response, but there is no resolution to the issue till now, neither a refund to the amount that I had to pay. Please help me and also if you could forward this complaint to the concerned government department so that such companies cannot harass and cheat common man going further. Thanks!
