Hi,
This is Dr.Mihir Parekh here.. I’m the owner at Smileage Dental Clinic.. The PayTM merchant account associated with my phone number has been registered under the above mentioned clinic name..
This mail is regarding a transaction that has been termed “illegal” by PayTM customer care executive.. The said transaction was done on 11th February 2019 (transaction ID: 20190211111212800110168598656960562)..
According to the response received from PayTM’s Facebook and Twitter handles (the customer care number has been continuously busy since past 30 hours), the above transaction was found against the fair usage policy by PayTM’s risk and compliance team..
I have been repeatedly asking the customer care people to tell me what is exactly wrong with the transaction.. But I haven’t received any response.. According to them, because of this transaction, my account was deactivated (without any intimation sent to me).. After that there were two more transactions done which were cleared without any glitch.. but suddenly a transaction of Rs.20,700 done on 26th March was credited to my account after deducting 1.99% plus taxes.. When I tried to complain about it, I came to know the above story and that my merchant priveleges were revoked because of that one transaction..
I still have no clue about what was wrong with that transaction as it was done by a regular customer of mine..
Please look into this matter and provide me with proper answers and resolution..
Regards,
Dr.Mihir Parekh
