For many days this portal was popping up on my Facebook page It had good collection of scarfs with sale offer. Thought it to be a genuine site with good offers as the online sale was everywhere and there were many likes too. Finally on 19th July 20 i placed order of scarfs for Rs 1592.00, payment through credit card. Immediately i got the acknowledgement via email about the details of my order with order nos
Also got a text message of the amount debited on credit card from ICICI bank on my mobile. Till then i could see the order and also the site was active.
Then on 22 July i replied the confirmation email and inquired about the status of the delivery of my stuff as there was no communication.
Again on 27, 29 July i put the reminder for the same. By this time the site was inactive and it said the site can’t be reached. My doubt for this fake site got stronger.
Then i checked on the debit message of the bank which said Info:RAZ*SAGAR.
Then i checked on the email it had an extension care.instylehere.gmail.com via shopify.com
I also searched for its customer care nos on google and got this 7542925315. Tried calling this nos and after two three attempts a person named Rajkumar answered it. He confirmed its the Instylehere customer care o nos and asked me my order details. He told due lockdown system is not working and so no reply for mails and the order has got cancelled and i can opt for refund via google pay. He didn’t sound convincing to me and so i said will call back later I checked the number on true caller and the details said the airtel nos is from Bihar and the email id was rk9087188@gmai.com.
On 4th Aug 20 i called that nos to get my refund. He asked that is any of my account linked to google pay. He said the company will send a code and insisted i do as he says. My husband who was hearing all this conversation spoke to him n asked him why all this information needed and why cant they return the amount to the same account of mode of payment done. And he cut the call. Called him back but now the nos is out of coverage area .
Have attached the screen shots of the email.Please take strict action against this fraud company and the Customer Care Nos.
