Text of Complaint by Amit Singh Negi:

I had unlocked an Amazon Pay Reward on the morning of 28 June (11:48 AM) after a UPI transaction (with bank reference id- 217927061673) which said ” GET 15% BACK UP TO ₹100 on Mobile Accessories for an order placed between 11 June and 8 July using AmazonPay).

I was incentivized and after claiming the Reward, I placed an ORDER # 404-3102073-0316346 on the night of 28 June (11:25 PM) using my AmazonPay UPI but didn’t get cashback.

Since then I have contacted as many as 5 different customer care representatives ( Mr. Shumbham, Ms. Hema, Mr. Udhayakumar, Ms. Saranya, Ms. Shaski), each feeding a different narrative and promising to get it resolved within 72 hours, 5 days, 7 days or whatever suits them.
The last Customer care agent, Sakshi, after making me upload a screenshot of Reward and product and whatnot, scheduled a follow-up call after 5 days but actually never called.
It’s sorry to say, I have been constantly being lied to and not even provided a single email for acknowledgment of my complaint.

I just don’t understand how can I trust Amazon from now on, are your Rewards fraud?
I was motivated to buy the items because of the deal I was getting from Amazon reward and once I actually bought the item, I didn’t get any cashback.If there is any technical glitch, why do I as the customer waste my time and energy? You can’t make your customers beg for what is their right. (The Consumer Protection Act,2019 provided that any false representation of goods or services will be treated as unfair trade practices ).
