I received a Whatsapp message from a firm called Netscribers Solutions, Ahmedabad, offering me a job as a data entry clerk. I responded positively, but after he later requested my photo and ID evidence and asked for my OTP, I realised he was a fraudster and banned him. Later, I began receiving calls and text messages posing as Gujarati solicitors with the phone numbers 8195827329, 8198835173, and 707729315 who claimed that I had violated an agreement. He also threatened to deliver a legal notice to my home and demanded payments of Rs. 6500 per day for unfinished work and Rs. 16000 for settlement.
I’m awaiting the notice, which I’ll bring to the police station and report the problem with.
