I had ordered food from Swiggy on 4th Jun at around 11.15pm and checked with them couple of times on where is the order and the bot responded saying it is confirmed by restaurant and will be delivered soon (same answer both the times) and finally I let it and waited for 2+ more hours and finally received a bot call saying restaurant is closed and the order is cancelled and refund will be processed (this was on 05th Jun at 02:12am).
Please Note: This is happening to me 6th time and this has been discussed with swiggy customer executives also escalation teams but not a single action taken towards this thing, which is happening repeatedly.
I got fed-up of this attitude from swiggy and writing this here to get them to the court to answer. This isn’t a way to service without any heads-up just accepting order and making us wait for long period and later cancels saying restaurant is closed and blame the restaurant and sliding through. This should not happen to any other. Please make sure they answer on this issue.
