Recently me and other 2 connections ported out from Airtel connection to VI Connection, because we got a call from a VI executive (Name – Raj, Mobile )
Following are the benefits that he offered me saying they are providing distributor discounts :
1. 3 Connections on family plan for 749 rs
2. Tax applicable on Rs. 749 will be 12% (I, re- confirmed it with him bcz i am aware that GST is 18% )
3. We wont have to pay for 1 month cycle after we port (i.e month of October)
4. Next 3 month we will have to pay only plan amount without GST (Ie for Month Nov, Dec & Jan – Rs. 749 only)
5. Feb onwards, we should pay Rs. 749 + 12% tax
6. Caller tunes Free for all 3 number
7. Lifetime subscription for – Amazon Prime, Zee5, Eros Now, Sony Liv
8. 6 months subscription for Netflix
Now when i called the customer care to claim my benefits, it comes to my knowledge that such plan doesn’t exist.. !!!
1. Tax applicable on Rs. 749 will be 18% only
2.. Our billing month starts from October itself with 18% Tax (i.e Rs. 749 + 18% Tax)
3.. Caller tunes Free for all 3 number – Not sure
4. Lifetime subscription for – Amazon Prime, Zee5, Eros Now, Sony Liv – Not Available
5. 6 months subscription for Netflix – Not Available
We were fooled by the plan he offered us which made us port to VI connections.
Now we have to pay because their executive gave wrong information and fooled us
