While browsing my Facebook account I came across an advertisement flashing attractive JBL Bluetooth speaker with 2 free branded earbuds with charging case for just Rs.1439.
On 9 September 2019, I placed an online order (order no. 2307978357) on Ezeedeals.in and made full payment through Paytm in good faith.
In a couple of days I got a call from a person claiming to be from Ezeedeals that my parcel is ready and is getting delivered through Blue Dart courier.
On 12 September I received the product delivery from Blue Dart courier. But I was shocked to see that the products delivered are completely different from the ones advertised and mentioned in the invoice copy shared. The Bluetooth speaker delivered to me is an unbranded and inferior quality product. Also there is only one substandard ear bud which is also not working.
I immediately wrote an email to the email id flashed on the ezeedeals website about my complain. There is no response against my complain. The phone number advertised in their website is also not reachable and looks fake.
I could see similar complaints against this vendor on Facebook and also before consumer forum.
My humble request is to take strict action against such online companies who fraudulently mint money from such scams. Also request Facebook to ensure proper due diligence while allowing such scamster running online business and ban these players to prevent misleading advertisements to the consumers.
