Text of Complaint by Shubham Mahipat Nalawade:

On 18th june I ordered Boat neckband from amazon and made online payment and delivery of the same was accepted by my relatives and she was unaware about the order being prepaid and she gave rs. 2600 in cash to amazon delivery boy. I already initiated complaint on 1st july 2022 and got assurance that I’ll get my refund on or before 8th july but again on 8th july I contacted amazon because refund was not credited. On 8th July I got assurance that I’ll get my money on or before 13th july but on 13th July also I didn’t received refund so I again contacted amazon on 13th july and got assurance that I’ll get refund by 14th july evening and follow up call was also created for this but neither I received refund nor follow up call.
Also got to know that I got many fake promises from Amazon customer representative with whom I earlier had communication on 1st July, 8th July and 13th July. I’m now frustrated by this kind of service from Amazon to their prime customers. The main question is, how can your delivery boy accept cash from customer even if delivery boy knows that the order is prepaid. In online deliveries it is possible that parcel might be collected by someone else on behalf of customer who’ve ordered the product and that person might not be aware about the payment made or not and in this kind of case if customer is giving cash to delivery boy then it’s delivery boy’s duty to tell the customer that order is prepaid. But amazon’s delivery boy accepted that payment and that’s where everything started and it’s been more than 18th days since I raised complaint regarding this but still I haven’t received my money back. On 18th July when I called amazon they told me that we have again raised TT for this. Till 18th July complaint is still pending and every representative is telling me to wait and raising new TT but not getting any resolution for me. I’m frustrated by this kind of service by Amazon and I want compensation for my extra money and also mental torture by Amazon
