Hello,
I am writing to bring to your attention a highly distressing incident that occurred during my recent purchase on Flipkart. I am appalled and deeply disappointed by the unethical behaviour demonstrated by one of your wishmaster/delivery executives, which resulted in financial loss and mental harassment for me.
On 19th June, I placed an order on Flipkart for a smartphone, with the exchange of my old smartphone as part of the transaction. The exchange value for my old smartphone, provided it was in flawless condition, was mentioned as ₹5,350 on your website. I completed the payment online and eagerly awaited the delivery.
However, upon the arrival of the delivery executive, I was subjected to an outrageous demand for an additional payment of ₹1,000. The executive, who inspected my smartphone and confirmed its flawless condition, blatantly threatened to reject the exchange if I did not comply with his demand. I was left with no choice but to pay the amount requested to ensure a smooth exchange process. You can check your records to verify the exchange amount and smartphone condition.
This incident has left me deeply disturbed and disillusioned with the services provided by Flipkart. It is completely unacceptable for your delivery executives to exploit customers in such a manner, using their position to extort money during the exchange process. This behaviour is not only unethical, but also damages the trust that customers place in your platform.
I demand a thorough investigation into this matter and appropriate action taken against the delivery executive involved. It is imperative that you address this issue promptly to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. Your customers should be able to trust that they will not be subjected to any form of harassment or extortion when conducting transactions on Flipkart.
Furthermore, I request an immediate refund of the extra amount I was forced to pay, along with compensation for the loss of time and mental distress caused by this incident. As a loyal customer, I expect Flipkart to take responsibility for this unfortunate situation and rectify it promptly.
