Text of Complaint by Sagar Mendapara:

I have bought TV From Filpkart around Nov 2018 and also along with that have purchase 2 year Extended warranty from Flipkart.

Issue : My TV is not getting any updates and due to that default selection of HDMI stopped  working and also inbuilt Chromecast which is available in updated version is not available. All the time when i start my TV i need to manually select HDMI port to Start D2H. When i checked with the brand i came to know that almost all the TV of same model is updated to Android from Patchwall and also they can fix this issue but as brand warranty is expired it will be chargeable service.

I logged service request around Nov 2020 and they asked for few details like Mac address and all. After that i was informed that within 15 days my TV will get the recent update. But unfortunately even after more than 45-50 days issue remains as it is.

So i logged service request again on 25th Dec 2020 and on the next day i.e. on 26th Dec 2020 technician visited to my place and checked TV ( he was technician just for the shake of saying as he was not aware about any functionality of TV or how smart TV works ) and informed me that will change mother board as new mother board will be coming with the updated version.

On 12th Jan 2020 new Technician visited and replaced board but after installing new mother board TV was not even started so he again installed old one and informed me that there is some issue with new mother board.

After that on 15th Jan 2020 again first technician visited with new mother board and this time atleast TV was started properly after installing new mother board but the situation was as is. There was not update available and default HDMI was not working. He informed that he will check with his senior and will get back to me.

Again on the next day i.e. on 16th Jan 2020 he visited with some updates in pen drive but he was not aware of how to install and even his senior / manager was also not aware how to install it. God know from where he got that update.

As update was not installed, i was informed by his manager that my TV is up to date and there is no further update available and they directly marked  my service request as completed and also they updated that mother board( hardware ) in my TV is changed which actually was not changed.

Almost 9-10 times i have call to customer care team and they asked me to drop mail to backend team and when i send mail to backend team they asked me to check with customer care team.
