We live in small chawl house in the Mumbai Suburban and use basic appliances. We have experienced a hike in our electricity bill since last 6 months. We thought maybe the bill was accurate and we must have used a little extra. Later on they started sending estimated bills on the previous amount we paid. The amount went on increasing and it hiked during the lockdown. We are currently not able to pay our bill, since our income resources has been limited. I request you to look into the matter.
