Text of Complaint by Manohar Vemulapalli:

I took a hand loan from PayTM Payments bank. It is mentioned that my EMI is due on the fifth of every month and no specific time is mentioned. On 5th April, 2023, I receive a message saying auto debut has failed and bounce/return charges be levied. However, I have sufficient balance in the account and I have also immediately contacted PayTM that I have received such a message and would like to avail an option to make the payment manually. There was no proper response from PayTM. One of the messages even asked me to ignore the warning message from them. It is only in the next morning, the option to pay manually has become active but they levied a charge of two hundred rupees. When complained of the same to PayTM, they get back to me with lame reasons and automated replies and never answer the question directly. They say the auto deduct mandate happens in the early morning of Fifth and if it fails additional charges will levied. I immediately asked where is it mentioned that the auto deduct will happen in the early hours of the day and why was I not given an option to make the payment manually despite me explicitly asking for the same. I am attaching a screenshot of the conversation with PayTM. I also have the screenshots of other conversations regarding the same issue.
