Text of Complaint by Sanyja Santiago:

The said company sold me International pack while i was travelling for 500, followng details were not disclosed to me:

  • Per day limit being revised if the pack gets activated. I had a total credit limit of 10000. which got revised to 5000 per day. I as a consumer wasn’t aware of the day limit. Credit limits are set so that one can curb their usage, there is a reason for the same
  • The said service did not work at all in Maldives, which made me stranded in a foreign land.
  • I had requested for a detailed bill in terms of how much data i consumed and where. Also requested for the audio clips of the conversation i had with Vodafone tele marketing person. Inorder to get full information right for both parties.
  • I live aloan in Mumbai, i dont think any woman will feel safe if a company send goons to her house to retrieve payment. I have been a loyal customer paying bills on time. Had asked for full details or a settlement amount basis my usage only.
  • After landing back from Maldives i had called Vodafone to enquire, its then when i got to know the pack was not even applied to my plan

A company cannot just send a bill without a notification and discussing the trouble points of its consumer. If i had the finaces i would very well pay it off to avoid any credibility issue. However this is against my ethics to clear off, as i havent used the service of Vodafone as the number wasn’t active. Its only through local wi-fi i could get in touch.

I want to log in the complaint for mental harrasement i had to go through for two months to just get a proper details of the over charged bill of Rs 56812.

Humble request if i could get help and further clarity on how to proceed.
