I went to an Airtel office on 100 feet road, Indiranagar, Bangalore to change my SIM card from company paid card to a personally paid card. I took an eAadhar card as an ID proof but they do not have a mechanism to accept that as an ID proof. They also do not have a finger print biometric machine either for ID verification by Aadhar database.
According to the Aadhar act, eAadhar is considered valid and an original ID proof at par with the print out but they would not accept it.
