Text of Complaint by Shubham Ghosh:

I have shifted my Airtel black connection (INR 699/ month plan) of Wi-Fi + DTH from Hyderabad to Bangalore in March-2026, and installation was done in my Bangalore flat on 21st March. I have completed all the due payment after the installation was completed and was expecting the usual monthly rental including GST which altogether comes as INR 824 every month since I took the connection in Hyderabad back in Oct 2025. To my surprise there were two bills generated, one was for Airtel black (shown as 350 monthly rental) which no longer exists and another for a new stand-alone Wi-fi (shown as 699 monthly rental). As I asked for support from my dedicated customer care team calling 121, they mentioned that there have been some glitches during the transfer request handling due to which this issue is created, and they need to unbundle my airtel black and bundle with new connection to remove the double bill related issue. So, they said they couldn’t do it because of some technical problem and that requires escalation; after escalating they asked me to wait for 48 hours, within which I will receive a call back and this issue will be handled by the escalated matrix. I waited but never received any call, and I have then reached out to express my concern again for 3 more times explaining my issue for 30-45 mins, and each time I was told the same, that someone will call back as they escalate it and as expected I never received any call yet nor the problem was addressed by anyone. I keep paying for the invoice of my standalone Wi-fi (with IPTV) that is actually present in my home and I’m using to avoid interruption of service and another false account keeps reflecting and adding new bills every month, thus I have 336+336=672 pending extra bills so far, for the service/product that never existed in my home.

I kept complaining about this and got super frustrated after getting the same verbal promise each time I called them and now it has become a serious headache. It’s been more than 4 weeks, and I have at least called 4-5 times requesting them to solve the issue so far, each time explaining the same issue from the scratch, and ended up receiving false verbal promises and no further action. Even though I’ve requested every time to at least give me some ticket ID for this problem that they are escalating, but they have never done that. No email, no service request, only verbal false assurance and frustrations.

I kindly request that this issue gets attention now and the proper resolution. It seems that for the error that was done by Airtel, I am suffering and they have no botheration for that.
