First I was contacted on WhatsApp by an HR representative of Disney Start company Nem:Inaya explaining to me their company’s vision is to create profile awareness for commercial stores on google maps.
I was given 3 tasks in the form of writing fake google reviews for restaurants mostly located in Ahmedabad /Gujrat for which they paid me 150/- & this was a training session they took my Name /Age/Occupation and location.
Then they asked me to open a Telegram account and search @shivanyaqueen.
Shihvanya is in the receptionist role to assist in the financial transactions and add to the fraud Telegram group.
With the below instructions:
“There are 21 tasks in the group a day. After each task is completed, you can send me screenshot and have to be sent to the group also to calculate your income.
Tasks are released every 25 minutes,from 10am to 8:30 pm. Don’t miss to do every tasks.
The reward per task is 50RS, but if you skip a task and don’t do it, then your reward will be reduced to 20RS. ”
The next step is to ask for the bank account details and make a payment to bank account for the number of reviews posted, this transaction will be in the range of (500- 1000)aprox.
So far all good, they will win the investor’s trust and will release a merchant task to level up the review commission and earn more profit, and this is where the trap, 1st merchant transaction, A teacher is assigned Name Ishan this will go smoothly, for example, you invest 2K and in 10-15 min they will return 2800, by investing the initial deposit of 2k on https://icbc4.club/Login/index they will ask for your ID card(Driving Licence)/ Email and phone number.
Will give you the instruction like below, to invest in fake cryptocurrency websites(https://icbc4.club/Login/index ) which operate from the background”
“> Ishan: Click 180s, fill amount 26 > Ishan: buy up > Ishan: confirm order”
Scam starts here
Till this time the investor is kind of happy and started to trust the Disney Start company/HR/ Receptionist /Teacher/Group/Telegram and group members who are part of the scam group posting high profits in the group with screenshots.
Next level -New merchant task is released investor is in the trap and go for repeating the transaction if he selects a low-value investment option like 2K, the response from the receptionist is slot is full and she will offer to invest in the mid-range some thing like 5k amount & Group Task is assigned with loads of T&C which is not clearly understood, same process repeats Teacher is assigned by name: Chander
He will make you invest in fake cryptocurrency website( https://icbc4.club/Login/index )and convert the 5k into 7K but to get this amount he will put some pressure and tactics to invest more in the second round like 35k and than 75K and this chain will go into lakhs at the end you will not get anything and keep losing the hard-earned money.
They will take all your money to block you from the group and will not respond to any messages or calls. They are still up on telegram in the available status scamming multiple innocent investors.
All this happened to me and I lost 5K amount, tried to file a case in the cyber cell but the list of questionary is very big and the site keeps crashing could not successfully lodge the complaint because the criminals/fraudster knows about these challenges/weakness of systems and they take full advantage of it to keep continuing scamming thousands of innocent citizens in one or the other form.
Please be alert not to fall into their traps and be safe.
