Text of Complaint by Arkaprabha Raichaudhuri:

Recently my Outgoing services has been disconnected by Vodafone
Reason given:
I have not cleared my pending bill with my previous operator Airtel

Now, coming to the fact ( Already informed this multiple times to Vodafone’s customer support and still no proper resolution on this)

My postpaid plan with Airtel was 399 plus GST
Hence the bill amount normally used to be around 470 per month
During my last billing period with Airtel, I had used their service for 14 days and then ported to Vodafone!!
Then suddenly the Airtel team called me and started asking for 570 rupees as the bill!!
Now if my bill for 30 days is 399 plus GST, how come my bill for 14 days is 570?
I have repeatedly asked them to send me the detailed bill explaining the 570 that they have asked for but in spite of repeated reminders they failed to provide me the bill!!
I clearly told them that my bill can’t exceed 250 since I have used the service for 14 days and switched to Vodafone for the rest of the month!! I told them repeatedly that i will make the payment based on my actual usage and not any random amount they demand for!!

Now since Vodafone has disconnected my service, I demand a bill from their side ( co-coordinating with Airtel)
I believe since Vodafone have disconnected my service , it is their duty to provide me with a proper bill justifying the amount Airtel has claimed from me!!
Else how can they disconnect my service without verifying the veracity of  Airtel’s claim and without taking into consideration my point of argument??
This has hampered my business calls and has caused severe inconvenience to me for last 4-5 days.
This is not about the money (I am more than eager to settle the bill provided i am given the proper bill with the amount justified) but I am clearly against someone trying to forge me and vodafone as a company is incapable of resolving this and siding with something which is unjustified.
