Text of Complaint by Archna Singh:

Dear Sir,

I hold a broadband connection that is 0124-4051718 (Gurgaon) – it was previously 4051608 that airtel conveniently chnaged to a new number – 4051718 and apparently did not update on its record and send me bills, which, when I pay, go into the old account or the new number depending on airtels mood and then begins the long arduous journey of getting it transferred every month it does not matter which number you pay into, there is always an issue. Evenn after repeated complaints over several years- this month they have taken the cake –  immediately upon receiving the bill –

I made the payment on 11th August 2019, Airtel Transaction number 190811246985 – Bank transaction ID – HDFC CREDIT CARD TRANSACTION REFERENCE NUMBER – 024452  

(BOTH ATTACHMENTS ARE ATTACHED AND WERE SENT TO THEM IMMEDIATELY ON THE DAY PAYMENT WAS MADE AND SUBSEQUENTLY IN EVERY MAIL THEREAFTER AS WELL.)

It’s SHAMEFUL THAT AIRTEL HAS NINCOMPOOPS EMPLOYED FROM THEIR CUSTOMER CARE TO THEIR SENIOR APPELLATE MANAGEMENT  – Despite sending them at least 20 emails with all payment details, bank statement, for payment done on 11th August, they HAVE NOW DISCONNECTED MY BROADBAND SERVICES LAST NIGHT AT 8:30 PM ON SEPTEMBER 2ND, 2019I have even attached my bank statement but still, it seems like nobody reads the emails being written and are just sending out automated replies. 

THIS IS THE RESPONSE RECEIVED BY APPELLATE AND THE REFERENCE NUMBER GIVEN BY THEM – BEFORE THIS I HAVE MADE SEVERAL COMPLAINTS AGAINST  THIS VIA VARIOUS EMAILS AND RECEIVED THE FOLLOWING NUMBERS

This is in response to your email about payment issue on your Airtel Fixedline number 01244051718.

As per your request, please note that, the amount of Rs 1414.82/- was posted to another airtel account 01244051608, however, To initiate a payment transfer to your account, please write to us with the scanned copy of the debit invoice or bank statement indicating the payment amount debit as name and address on both the accounts are different.

CUT THE SERVICES!!!

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS PAYMENT WAS DONE ON 11TH AUGUST AND SINCE MY EMAILS ARE REPLIED TO WITHOUT BEING READ OR ATTACHED BANK STATEMENTS  SEEN, I AM NOW RAISING THIS CONCERN WITH AIRTEL NODAL TEAM AND THEN ESCALATING IT TO TRAI AND OMBUDSMAN.

ALL STATEMENTS ALONG WITH BANK TRANSACTION DETAILS ARE ATTACHED AGAIN
