I had applied on a few online job portals, I then received a call on 22nd, January, 2020 for a data entry job in which I had to fill 700 forms in 6 days. They had provided an agreement in which terms and conditions were mentioned. I agreed to work for the same. On the 5th day when I had completed almost 650 forms they blocked my id and therefore I contacted them for the resolution so they mentioned that because the login time didn’t matched with the logout time ( which was one of the t&c ) I will have to pay ₹3,999 in order to get my id activated. I did the same as I was just a few forms away for getting the work completed, also the amount that I had paid was refundable, I have it in email. After paying the amount my id was activated and I resumed my work, when I had almost completed my work just 2 forms were left, there was an error and I couldn’t proceed with the work, I informed the concerned person about the same that very moment, also send them an email mentioning the issue, all this happened on 28th, January 2020. On 29th, January 2020, ie. today I received a call from one of their representatives, mentioning that my work was completed but however 2 forms were skipped that is why my work will not be considered completed, and I will have to pay another ₹3,999 so that they can generate a new Id and then they will provide me that so that I ll be able to do the left out 2 forms and will then merge both my works so that it will get to the total of 700 forms and then my salary with the amount that I had paid will be credited in my account. When I denied to pay another ₹3,999 as I realised this was a scam, they said that they are closing my file and neither my work will get paid off nor the money that I had paid will be refunded. Now they are not responding to my calls or texts.
