Hi,

I am forced to write this after a very long and tiring process of following up with the amazon customer care team. I hope whoever is reading this will understand my problem and provide a correct solution to this.

Issue:
I had made an order on the 7th of May 2023 for a Office chair. It was supposed to be delivered to me on the 11th of May 2023. On the day of delivery I got a call from some amazon delivery guy, but he didn’t say anything on the phone and the call was cut. Later that day I saw my order was marked delivered. But when I checked with my society gatekeeper, he said they didn’t receive any such orders.
I verified the logs in the MyGate app and there was no log of the amazon guy entering the society premises. But just to be sure, I checked with the neighbors as well, but no one had received the package.
-> Therefore I called amazon customer care, and from here the trail of frustration started. They lodged my complaint and said they will make a resolution by the 17th of May.
-> Didn’t receive any response till the 18th. Therefore I called back and then they said that they will check and again call back in some time(Don’t remember the exact time). But that didn’t come.
-> I again called back and they said that they will refund the money. To which I disagreed., because I had ordered the product during sale and now the price of the product was more. I informed them of this and asked for any solution from them.
-> That day i was on a call with them for over 3 hours. The phone got disconnected multiple times and every time I had to call back and explain the issue from scratch to a new customer care executive.
-> At the end, one of the guys agreed to re-order the chair. but he said there is some problem with my delivery address and asked me to delete my address on the Amazon App and re enter it. I did it but again I was informed that there was some issue from the back-end. And then the call got cut. and i didn’t receive any call back.
-> I was quite frustrated by now, but the next day I called and again I was on the phone for about 3 hours and the same thing happened. The call was disconnected a couple of times. At last I explained the issue, they tried to re-order and said there was some back-end issue. And at the end the operator said that he will pass this issue to a higher resolution team and they will call my back by the night.
-> But I didn’t receive any call back till 2 days.
-> Then I received a call on the 21st from someone in amazon and she started shouting at me saying that she cannot reorder the product because I have purposefully deleted the address from the app and I am wasting their time. I tried to explain to her that it was the amazon operators only who had asked me to delete the address and re-enter it. But she didn’t want to hear anything and kept shouting at me and at the end she cut the phone.

From that point, till today I have not heard anything back from them, nor have I received the product or the refund. It has been more than 1 month now. I have been an amazon prime customer for the last 5 years and i have made thousands of purchases from my account. This is the 1st time I faced this issue and the very same time I got this kind of treatment from your side.
I don’t know what resolution I will get here, and frankly I don’t care about the product now. But I have spent too much of my time and energy on this and I cannot let that go to waste. Therefore I am requesting you to please dig into this and provide me with an acceptable solution.
