Text of Complaint by Hitesh Mulani:

Hello Sir/Ma’am,

Hope you are doing well.
I am writing this email because Paytm company is not refunding my money since May 8. I have booked ticket through paytm application from Ahmedabad to Jaipur for my parents as my Nani passed away on May 6 and they have to reach  in early morning on May 9th. I booked ticket for which arrival time was 7:15 PM May 8th and than I received a call from bus operator stating that bus will be delayed by 3 hours due to technical issues. As my parents have to reach Jaipur early morning on May 9th, I called to paytm customer care and spoke with one of rep. He asked me to book another tickets and send the same at his email and he will process refund. I booked another ticket and emailed the same to him. Now, It’s been more than 2 weeks and I have not received my refund yet. I have attached entire conversation which happened through email and requesting you to take appropriate action.

We acknowledge receiving your request regarding Journey Inconvenience against your booking ID 8177409241.

We are working to resolve your issue as soon as possible.

We will update you on the same within 72 hours.

Hello,

I called to your customers care and they said that they will process refund in 72 hours. Now, you are saying that I have to contact to bus operator which is not acceptable. If you cannot refund my money than I have to file complaint in consumer court and than court will decide who is going to process refund.

This is been more than more than 72 hours and I have not heard from you. I have kept Consumer Education and Research Society cc. Please processes my refund as soon as possible or else action will be taken by Consumer Education and Research Society.
