Dear Sir/Ma’am,
I would like to register a complaint against Vodafone India. I had visited their store to activate my number which was dormant for more than a year. I was told that i have to pay Rs. 500 for activation. I agreed to the same. Please note, I do not use that number. I only wanted to activate it inorder to receive OTP for changing my number on aadhar card.
Now every month Vodafone has been sending me SMSs to pay Rs. 500 . I called their customer care and informed them that I will recharge the number only when I need to use it. To which they replied saying It is a postpaid number and I have to pay the bill.
I was never told at Vodafone that It will be converted into a postpaid number.
Now they have sent a demand notice of Rs. 1073.
This is a clear case of cheating and mistrust. Kindly help me to sort out this matter.
