This is regarding my recently placed MI LED TV order request with order number: OD225610162261627000 on flipkart. I placed an order for a MI 5A 80 cm ( 32 inch) HD ready LED smart Android TV but received an old used “Sansui” led TV in a non working condition.
I have been constantly trying to reach Flipkart’s customer service but haven’t received a satisfactory resolution from their end. My return request has been rejected twice on the basis of the seller’s decision. Please help me understand how my return request can solely depend on the seller’s decision when the parties involved in the entire process are payer/ receiver, delivery partner and seller.
The order received on 2nd August by the delhivery courier guy was in a complete intact box. On asking for open delivery the courier guy refused to fulfil my request and said that only the authorised engineer would have this permission. Considering the delivery was done by the third party vendor I found the reason valid.
The next day when the installation guy unboxed the package, to my surprise the product inside the box was a different company’s product altogether. The engineer then immediately highlighted the issue to his seniors and filed for a DOA request and from that day I have requested for the replacement thrice in response to which I have not heard back a positive response on the replacement rather have received rejection thrice.
