Text of Complaint by Ankit Soni:

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to file a formal complaint against Amazon regarding an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience I have had with their delivery service. Despite my repeated attempts to resolve the issue directly with the company, I have not received a satisfactory response, and I believe that seeking assistance from the consumer court is necessary.

On [Order Date], I placed an order with Amazon. The estimated delivery date was 31 Aug. Unfortunately, my order was not delivered within the specified timeframe, and I was left waiting for four days. On the delivery date, I received a call from a delivery person around 9:00 PM, who claimed that they were unable to locate my address. I provided clear instructions to guide them to my apartment on the 4th floor, Flat 422.

Despite providing these instructions and confirming my availability to receive the package, the delivery person did not make any attempt to deliver the order. Surprisingly, I received an email from Amazon stating that they had “missed” me and that they would make two more delivery attempts. This email is blatantly inaccurate, as I was available and had specifically instructed the delivery person to come to my address.

This situation has caused me significant inconvenience and frustration. Not only was I inconvenienced by the delayed delivery, but I also received a false explanation for the failed delivery attempt. I strongly believe that such practices are misleading and disrespectful to customers.

I have attempted to communicate my concerns to Amazon’s customer service department, but their responses have been inadequate and fail to address the core issues. Despite my explanation of the situation, they continued to insist that the delivery person was unable to connect with me, which is simply not true.

In light of the circumstances, I kindly request the intervention of the consumer court to address this matter. I believe that it is necessary to hold Amazon accountable for their unreliable delivery service, misleading communication, and failure to address customer complaints effectively.

I am seeking the following actions to be taken:

Investigation into the delivery incident in question, including reviewing call records and communication logs.
Adequate compensation for the inconvenience, frustration, and time wasted due to this ordeal.
Improved transparency and accuracy in communication regarding delivery status and attempts.
Ensuring that such incidents do not occur in the future, by implementing better training and accountability for their delivery personnel.
I have attached copies of relevant documents, including the order confirmation, delivery notification, and my communication with Amazon’s customer service.
