Delay of guaranteed Delivery for a Prime member.

Dear Sir,

We ordered an item (Tennyson idly cooker) from Amazon Online platform on the 21st July and the guaranteed delivery date was yesterday 23 rd July. You can see the details of my order below. (We even got an assurance message yesterday morning from amazon team with PIN confirming that it will be delivered on date. ) We are prime time members and the shipment was one day delivery. The dispatch of the item from the seller’s side was on date (I appreciate). And was waiting for its delivery on time. I was tracking the product. Yesterday till late night it was showing that the product will be delivered by 10 pm. But suddenly without any prior information to me they changed the delivery date to 24-25. Our time and the plans we made collapsed by their irresponsible deeds. (actually the parcel had to be sent to another place for a function and we were very much waiting for its delivery! one another person was also waiting in that regard.!!).Today I got the message that the product will be delivered today by 9 pm. (cross fingered).

My question is,
As a customer do we have any right to complain about this irresponsible act from the delivery team..?
It is clear that the fault was made by the delivery team. Then why should I pay for it?
how can they change the delivery date according to their will? and as a customer don’t we have any right to question it..?
Do they have any responsibility to inform the customer ? at last time or before a particular time?
If they failed to do so, does the customer have the right to raise a complaint for compensation (for the waste of time and our plans ) from the delivery team..?
Does our time have any value?
Do they get punished for their fault? Or we customers should bear such acts without getting any compensation?

Sir, my kind request is to look into the issue from a customer’s point of view. Actually the loss of time and patience we lost yesterday is unexplainable. As a prime member I didn’t get the guaranteed delivery as u promised. Just tell me how to claim for the compensation that I deserve.

I made two or three calls and so many chats with amazon members regarding this issue. But all were convincing me with auto generated answers. It is not the solution for my issue. One senior member, Meer, was very rude as he was denying all the points that I raised for the faults that their delivery team made. Even he stopped connecting my calls now !!

Sir, please I have to get compensation from the delivery team on this issue. As it was their fault. In their terms and conditions it is well written that the customer has the right to raise a complaint for the delay in their guaranteed delivery. (If there is any buffer time for the delivery time which is hidden for a customer then, my question is why are they providing us a fake delivery date then..? )

Please do the needful. as it is a matter of trust and disappointment that I faced from amazon
