I am writing this letter to file a formal complaint against Ola Electric regarding the delayed delivery of my Ola S1 Air electric scooter. I am deeply disappointed with the company’s inability to fulfill their commitment to deliver the vehicle within the promised timeframe. The purpose of this complaint is to seek appropriate redressal and compensation for the inconvenience caused.
I booked Ola S1 Air on 24th October 2022 with a payment of Rs 999/-. I placed an final order on 27 July 2023 by paying Rs 122,670/- . with an expected delivery timeline of 15th August 2023, as communicated by Ola Electric’s official website and order confirmation email. However, after completion of all due procedure the estimate date delivery date revised to 22.08.2023, than again revised to 15.09.2023.But the same is not delivered yet. Registration of the vehicle has been done on 06.09.2023, Insurance also issued on the same day.The fame 2 OTP varification was also done on 11.09.2023. The vehicle was supposed to get delivered at the entitled Experience Center at the following address- No 100, 17th Main Rd, Sector 3, HSR Layout, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560102, India.When I enquired with the Experience Center I found the vehicle number plate was there where as vehicle was not available. This delay has caused significant inconvenience, as I had made plans and arrangements based on the expected delivery date.
I have made numerous attempts to contact Ola Electric’s customer support team through their helpline and email, seeking an update on the delivery status. However, I have been met with unsatisfactory responses, vague assurances, and a lack of transparency regarding the reasons for the delay. This lack of communication and disregard for customer concerns only adds to my frustration and disappointment.
As a consumer, I believe that I am entitled to receive the product within the promised timeframe or be duly compensated for any delays encountered. The delayed delivery of the Ola S1 Air has not only caused inconvenience but has also impacted my trust in the company’s ability to fulfill its commitments.
Therefore, I kindly request the intervention of the Consumer Court to resolve this matter and ensure that Ola Electric takes appropriate action to rectify the situation. I am seeking the following resolutions:
1. Immediate delivery of the Ola S1 Air electric scooter within a reasonable timeframe.
2. Adequate compensation for the inconvenience caused due to the delayed delivery, including any additional expenses incurred as a result.
3. A clear and transparent explanation for the delay in delivery, as well as assurance that such incidents will not recur in the future.
I have attached copies of all relevant documents, including the invoice, insurance details and all important communications and evidences.
I trust that the Consumer Court will carefully consider my complaint and take appropriate action against Ola Electric. I look forward to a prompt resolution to this matter and a fair outcome.
