Text of Complaint by Devesh Anand:

This is with extreme disappointment in the Company that I have to say that I have stopped using all services from Airtel. After months of harassment, I was asked to either pay the wrongly generated bills or face the consequences. The guy who called me was extremely ill-spoken and wasn’t even ready to listen to me.

Bills were incorrectly generated for the following broadband connections:

1. Broadband acc no: 7036475684

2. Broadband acc no: 7038263415

To give a background, please note that I had availed a 6+2 month rental plan in Oct 2018, which was to last till 25th June 2019. At the time of availment, I had categorically confirmed with the customer care executive that there won’t be any auto renewal of the plan. Renewal of the plan was to be confirmed by me in over call/ SMS. I was assured of this and this is why I had availed the plan. However, this has not happened and my plan got auto renewed on 25th June 2019, which I never used. I asked the Airtel guys to cancel the plan and charge me on a pro-rata basis. I followed up with them for more than 2 months only to be charged the full amount.
