Text of Complaint by Vinod Chand:

I purchased Laptop Acer Nitro 5 Ryzen5 466H from amazon on 28th July Price was Rs 67000 and delivered it to me on 1st August. Post checking it’s found the product is defective and never switched on. So I asked for a return they say only replacement was allowed after the inspection so they requested arranged inspection on 06 the august 10 Am to 2 pm even multiple calls no one come & inspection was completed after raising concern they requested again inspection on 8th august this time no one come but called me and told me to send a video of Laptop & he completed inspection without visiting this time and after this amazon activated option for replacement so I requested on 09th August but now it’s showing will be delivered on 20th September 2021 so it will take more then 1 month. I requested kindly deliver early as earlier delivered defective product but they said not possible so wait or now go for a refund so i requested a refund. Now they come up that no delivery person available so you have to courier this to amazon that’s was also harassment to the customer so I went to DTDC and it takes my 4 hours to courier this as more than 50000 value so away bill needs to be generated otherwise no one couriers this. So anyhow I completed paying 2650 own pocket this and same-day mail to email id delivery address shared and customer care id on 12 August & product delivered on 13 August to delivery address 8 PM. I mailed also please issues refund on urgent no update false promises again I called on 16 August they said we received within 2-3 days they will issues refund. Today I called Amazone person who said kindly share delivery details as no update on this return. Post sharing all details she mentioned okay now it will take 15 Days you will get a refund by 26 August in case no refund kindly let us know. I requested please consider it again as now it’s due on my credit card bill also so now post one month of order no product i received as a customer, I paid 70000 for that product i never used and now same i will pay on my credit card also.
Now as a customer my concern is that it’s harassment to a customer they keeping my money for 1 month or even more who know still I have to chase and no compensation to the customer for this time value of money and used my time & harassment also.
I don’t know when I will receive my refund but my concern as a customer is the mental torture of keeping money hold for that time I am sure they are keeping millions of money from other customers also and the worst thing is we don’t have any rights and forum and our mistake we used the online platform as they treated us like shit.
Hope adequate actions are taken as 70000 Rs they are keeping and will be compensated to me as per loss of time value of money & mental torture during this thing to me.
