Text of Complaint by VAISAKH MURALI:

I had ordered one Philips trimmer from Flipkart. And I had opted unfortunately for open box delivery where the customer can open the box at the time of delivery and reject if there is any defects. But unfortunately I wasn’t able to identify this small defect before sharing the otp to the delivery agent and so that guy stated he can’t do anything from his side now but I can do it from my end. But sincw it was an open delivery Flipkart said Im not eligible for replacement. And in their website this product is shown as eligible for seller brand replacement which they are stating now that it is Philips brand who should replace it and not Flipkart. And I contacted Philips service centre and they said can’t do any replacement for anything which is purchased from any third-party sites other than Philips. What they can do is only repair undrr warranty. But I need a replacement for this device. From the images I have attached it is quite evident that this product was tried to open by somebody else which resulted in that dent on bottom part. If Flipkart is asking why I couldn’t identify this particular defect at the time of opening the question I have to ask them back is why this product wasn’t rejected at the warehouse end after quality check? Why are they shipping damaged products again and again to customers? This is a fraudulent activity by Flipkart. I kindly request to take strict action against Flipkart and refund my amount back. This is not the first time I’m facing this issue from them.
