The sofa (ORDER ID 307072700) that I had bought broke within few days of usage. I raised a complaint and pepperfry sent a carpenter in 2 days.
The carpenter who had visited the site explained to us about the manufacturing defect the sofa has(refer the attached pic, the nails came out as it never had support i.e., no wood it was just hanging on other 2 nails). He even called his boss in front of us(and shared photos) and explained to him that the broken leg was never fit properly as underneath wood support was missing. He said it needs to be either returned or repaired at the factory.
Since then more than 10 days, I’ve been calling their customer care, trying to chat but no one called me back or responded to my chat.
I get a feel as if I’m dealing with some roadside furniture shop and not really with a branded company(sic).
